Date: Thursday, April 25, 2024
Time: 9:30am - 11:00am
Presenter: Siobhan Schenk and Jeremy Buhler
Location: Online

This workshop uses Tableau Public sofware to build on the skills learned in Intro to data visualization with Tableau. We use Tableau Public because it is available at no cost and provides a user interface that is accessible to beginners.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Use more than one data source in the same dashboard
  2. Apply calculations in your Tableau charts
  3. Assemble a simple dashboard using Tableau

To participate fully please follow the pre-workshop setup instructions and install Tableau ahead of time: https://ubc-library-rc.github.io/tableau-dashboard/. This workshop assumes you are familiar with the material covered in Intro to data visualization with Tableau (available for self-paced learning and review at https://ubc-library-rc.github.io/tableau-intro/).
