The Canadian Housing Statistics Program (CHSP) was created in 2017 in response to the federal government’s desire to create an integrated and comprehensive source of information on housing.  (Full event description coming soon).

Brahim Boualam is a unit head for the Canadian Housing Statistics Program. Before joining Statistics Canada, Brahim was an assistant professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), where he conducted several research projects on urban and regional economics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Geneva in 2015.

 

This event is part of Love Data Week 2024, co-sponsored by SFU, UBC, UNBC, and UVic. Registration is open to everyone.
